What NYC murals did we leave out in today’s MUG? Let us know in the comments section below.
We are crazy, no exaggeration, about the ‘finger paintings’ of Jorge Colombo, often seen on the cover of the New Yorker. Now they’ve been collected in a book. The artist will be at powerHouse Arena in DUMBO on Tuesday, October 25th, 7-9pm, for the book launch, which includes a conversation with Jen Bekman.
Csaba Szegedi: City Colors opens on Thursday at the Hungarian Cultural Center, 477 Bway [Broome/Grand] 212.750.4450.
We love this watercolor by Sally Mara Sturman who is both a superb illustrator and an equally skilled fishmonger for Blue Moon Fish at the Union Square Greenmarket. More of her work is for sale on Etsy.
